MEET THE TEAM
The team at MA:E magazine represents a diverse set of backgrounds but have a shared vision for what they want MA:E to be. They are guided by the belief that everyone should have a platform to explore their interests and share their stories.
By bringing a new platform to the University of Michigan campus, they hope highlighting and elevating the voices of self-identifying APIDA individuals will be able to further celebrate the rich history, culture, and narratives that make up this community.

MA:E’s Core is a group of leaders, creatives, and friends driven to continue building and growing MA:E.
Youmna is a Senior BBA major with a philosophy minor at the University of Michigan. Her favorite thing about MA:E is the creativity of our members and our cultural representation.

Emily is a Senior double majoring in UX Design and Art & Design at the University of Michigan. Her favorite thing about MA:E is having fun with MA:E members with the release of the printed version of the semester's edition.

SJ is a Sophomore double majoring in Psychology and Arts & Ideas in the Humanities at the University of Michigan. Her favorite thing about MA:E is having a community of colour for creatives, and getting to work on intimate and reflective pieces with her team.

Lanny is a Sophomore majoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Michigan. Her favorite thing about MA:E is the community where she is able to make a lot of great friends with similar passions and different but shared backgrounds which is a unique experience.
